Hypnosis--Unleash the power of you
subconscious mind to make changes in your life!

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is something you might be familiar with, like being totally engrossed in a book or a beautiful sunset and losing track of time. Hypnosis is a mental state induced by a hypnotist’s verbal guidance. Medical studies conducted using EEG suggested that hypnosis removes the emotional experience of pain while allowing the sensory sensation to remain. The hypnotized person is not asleep or unconscious; on the contrary the subject’s mind becomes hyper attentive and hyperactive. During the trance the subconscious mind becomes open to suggestion which allows the changes to be made. However the subject is in total control.

Is hypnosis safe?

The induction of hypnosis is never dangerous to you. You remain in complete control during the entire session and will not do anything you do not think is acceptable. It is not addictive, absolutely no drugs are used, and there are no unwanted side effects. You may terminate the trance state at any time you wish. Both the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association have approved hypnosis.

Who can be hypnotized?

Stanford University studies from the late 1950’s have been confirmed by recent studies: 95% of people can be hypnotized to some extent. The depth of hypnosis varies with a person’s ability to respond. If one suffers from epilepsy, psychosis, or schizophrenia he/she, should not utilize hypnosis.

While further study of the unconscious mind is required to fully understand the mechanism behind hypnosis, one fact remains unchanged: hypnosis is a safe and effective tool that can change your life.
